 GVS Glass gluing station GVS - Glass gluing station The GVS represents an important development in the sector of vinyl window construction. In comparison to conventional production methods the gluing technology offers a lot of advantages. The glass panes are loaded manually. The gluing process is CNC-controlled and fully automatic. Depending on the production process the gluing is either made in the sash or in the completed element. All customary adhesives can be processed (with one and two components) There are two different ways of gluing: - rebate base gluing - overlap gluing by rotating knob - further options on demand General advantages of gluing frames and windows: - reinforcement of the sash is not necessary - more incident light because of thinner profiles - better thermal property - the glass pane takes over most of the load - load reduction for the corner joints Working process: data input for the element: - manually (touchscreen). - automatically by laser-supported measuring of the element - online processing by data record - starting of gluing process – the whole process runs automatically The adjustment for the nozzle`s travel speed and for the injection quantity is automatically adapted. All parameters like temperature of the glue, injection pressure, etc. are continuously monitored. The machine is secured by a light curtain and a fence. |
